SEX & THE CITY PREMIERES

OMG! I am so excited that myself and 14 of my gal pals will finally get a chance to see Sex & the City, the movie, tomorrow evening! We had to purchase tickets two weeks in advance just to secure the date. I'm looking forward to the fashion element of the movie the most, followed by a need to see if the ladies lives finally evolve. Check out the fabulous four at their three global premieres; Berlin, London and of course, NYC. Who dressed the best at all three events?

Update: 21 gal pals made it to a Friday showing of Sex & the City and it was fabulous. A majority of the attendees wore their best outfit and stilettos to the show; the audience clapped as the movie began and ended. Worth the $10 ticket!!

H&M 2008 FALL PREVIEW

I've hardly touched my spring/summer wardrobe thanks to the fickle Chicago temperatures, and H&M is already teasing us with luscious wool coats and jeweled toned tights; the perfect accompaniment to the fierce booties you picked up last year! H&M hired Canadian supermodel Heather Marks for their 2008 campaign...never heard of her.

PRETTY IN PINK

My favorite fashionista, Victoria Beckham, is trending pastel jeans, with a ‘flare’. I keep feeling as if pastel jeans were so last year; perhaps because they were first seen last year??? Personally, this is one trend I will pass on. The colors do not necessarily make jeans look better or the person wearing them. I assume Victoria is sporting a soon-to-be released pastel flare jean from her DVB line.

VICTORIA BECKHAM LAUNCHES DVB AT HARRODS LONDON

Victoria Beckham made a late afternoon appearance today at Harrod's in London to promote, what else?? DVB sunglasses and her blue jean collection. Posh is looking skinny and fabulous as usual. I finally tried on the flare 70's inspired jeans at Saks Fifth Ave last month, and I'm on the fence about them. I thought the jeans were well made (perhaps the reason for the almost $300 price tag) and had a great modern flare leg. However, the jeans didn't flatter my bum, similar to the model pictured, I looked as if I had no bum at all in the jeans. hummm..needless to say the jeans are still at the store!
