Ruth Tarvydas started as a teenage designer in Australia and since has gone global with her edgy designs. Tarvydas also attacts celebrity fans such as the Kardashian's, Jodie Kidd, Rachael Hunter and Australia’s own Miss Universe Jennifer Hawkins; pop stars Javine, Girls Aloud and Rihanna to name a few. At first glance I was so distracted by the Sweeny Todd like makeup on the runway models that I almost missed the sexy dresses!

What a relief! I was beginning to think that I would not see a fashionable, wearable and fun swimwear/runway collection all year! Hotel Bondi Swim to the rescue! Fern Levack and Damion Fuller swapped streetwear for swimwear after selling their Kitten label in 2006 and presented Bondi at Australian Fashion Week yesterday.
