Hot off the Ready-to-Wear runway - 50’s inspired dresses as in the style of Kim Novak in Vertigo, done to perfection for the modern girl.

London based French designer Roland Mouret débuted his Spring 2008 Ready-to-Wear collection last week in Paris…kinda late to present a spring line don’t you think? As fall fashion shows start Feb 1st! I digress.. I’m desperately seeking a RM Moon Dress from fall ‘07 or that yellow spring ‘08 dress. Not fair to compare Dita Von Teese and Kelly Osborn in the same dress...hummm.

Another favorite is Black Halo, and these designer duds are more affordable ($300-400). Kelly Ripa is wearing the Jackie O dress from last season. This seasons dress is the Silk Chiffon & Tweed Dress as seen on the cover of Lucky magazine. Available at Saks.

The Cold Shoulder

I’m getting the feeling one-shoulder dresses and tops will be a sexy trend this summer. We are sure to see plenty of celebs wearing this look at the Golden Globes and Oscars!
I personally have always found it alluring to show a bit of shoulder on a warm & sunny day. Katie Holmes is looking fab in Lanvin Spring 2008 at the Critics Choice Awards yesterday.
