TREND ALERT: Spanish Fragrances

Latin fever is sweeping the Dillard’s Department Stores fragrance counter, just like Ricky Martin shook his bon bon all the way to the top of the charts, Jennifer Lopez took the throne as a pop music diva and Javier Bardem triumphed over last year’s Academy Awards. Straight from the rich cultural heritage of Spain – one that heralds the quirkiness of a Pedro Almodovar film and the Hollywood chic-ness of Penelope Cruz -- a new selection of exhilarating fragrances has landed at 50 doors of the Southern-tiered clothing stores Dillard’s. These high-style Spanish scents crafted by Idesa Parfums, S.A., and Perfúmes y Deseño, are a highly-prized, exotic complement to Dillard’s already “prestigious” fragrance counters and enforce the retailer’s ongoing runway worthy expansion of luxury fashion brands.

Hummm…No Dillard’s in Chicago, and I’d rather go to Neiman Marcus to see if they are selling any fabulous Spanish imports!
