As I searched for a new pair of black-ball stud earrings to add to my all black fall wardrobe I stumbled across a few fabulous fedoras at Nordstrom's. To be honest, I never cared for the Fedora until I saw my sister, Abiah, wearing a white fedora last summer, and Victoria Beckham is rocking this corduroy version. I'm saving up (yes, times are tough) for the magenta rabbit hair fedora by Tarnish!! Runner-up is the Gucci felt hat in the style of my favorite gals of Lipstick Jungle.

LIPSTICK JUNGLE - Fashion

As you may know I’ve highly recommended adding Lipstick Jungle to your fall television line up. The story line isn’t bad and better yet the NYC back drop and fashion are fabulous. One thing I’ve noticed aside from the fact that the three main stars are working out to stay super thin (I digress) is the use of beaded necklaces. I haven’t had a beaded necklace or earrings since the late 80’s, but here they are again. I found really inexpensive gold and black beaded necklaces on ebay this weekend and I know H&M is carrying a large selection. Lipstick Jungle airs Wednesday nights at 9pm cst.

Based on a pretty decent first season, I believe this show has the potential to be just as fascinating as Sex & the City...minus some of the SEX. The fashion, makeup and NYC scenery are fabulous, throw in three girlfriends dealing with relationships, love and family. A MUST WATCH!
